📜 What is Employees’ State Insurance Corporation?

This chapter provides the framework for Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) under the Code. It covers the Employees’ State Insurance Fund, contributions, benefits such as sickness, maternity, disablement and dependants’ benefits, medical care arrangements, insurance courts, disputes, recovery of contributions and priority of ESI dues, as well as schemes for unorganised, gig and platform workers.
