📜 What is Employees’ Compensation?

Chapter VII consolidates provisions relating to employees’ compensation for injury, occupational disease or death arising out of and in the course of employment. It sets out the employer’s liability, method of calculating compensation, procedures for claims, role of the competent authority, medical examination, appeals and other procedural safeguards, including special rules for accidents occurring outside India.
अध्याय VII सेवा के दौरान या सेवा से संबंधित दुर्घटना, व्यावसायिक रोग या मृत्यु की स्थिति में कर्मचारी प्रतिकर से जुड़े प्रावधानों को एकीकृत करता है। इसमें नियोक्ता की देयता, प्रतिकर की गणना की पद्धति, दावा करने की प्रक्रिया, सक्षम प्राधिकारी की भूमिका, चिकित्सीय परीक्षण, अपील की व्यवस्था तथा भारत के बाहर दुर्घटना होने पर विशेष नियमों का उल्लेख है।
