यह अध्याय उपयुक्त सरकार द्वारा न्यूनतम वेतन तय करने और संशोधित करने से संबंधित प्रावधानों को निर्धारित करता है, जो वेतन संहिता, 2019 के तहत फ्लोर वेज की अवधारणा से जुड़ा है। इसमें रोजगारों का कवरेज, दरों को निर्धारित करने के आधार, समय-समय पर संशोधन तथा अधिसूचित न्यूनतम दरों से कम वेतन देने पर रोक शामिल है।
